The girls tennis team won 17-1 against Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy to continue their 3-0 winning streak. The squad picked up an 11-7 win against Notre Dame in their season opener on March 2 and won 14-4 against Calabasas on March 4.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the normal fall season of the team was pushed to this spring. Masks were also required to be worn by all team members. Sam Plageman ’23 reflected on how it feels to return to playing after so long.

“You can feel the energy every time we practice,” Plageman said. “The team has already developed strong chemistry even though many of us have only been playing with each other for a few weeks. We are going to continue to push each other and hopefully have a very successful season.”

The team looks to further their streak in their next home match against Louisville High School March 22.
