After defeating Fountain Valley, the varsity field hockey team is over the first hurdle in their playoff campaign.
The team won by a score of 3-1 on Monday, Oct. 29. The two-goal margain of victory was a lot closer than the Wolverines previous win over Fountain Valley in the regular season, when the Wolverines won on Sept. 11 by a score of 8-1.
Goals were scored by Sarika Pandrangi ’13, Lucy Putnam ’14 and Sarah Shelby ’13.
Having advanced to the semi-finals, the Wolverines’ next game will be Oct. 31 at Harvard-Westlake; however, their opponent is currently undecided.
