The varsity lacrosse team was defeated 15-8 by St. Margaret’s at Torrance HS in the Southern Sectional final. The finals were the furthest the team had ever been in the LA tournament.
The team went on a 3-0 goal run in the second quarter, and entered halftime up 5-2. Although the score at the beginning of the fourth quarter was 8-7 St. Margaret’s, the Tartans went on a 7-1 run in said period.
“We did great, guys, ” interim head coach Alexander Weber said. “Hey, we’ve gotta save something for next year; we can’t do everything this year,” implying that he intends to return as coach for the Wolverines next season.
