Wolverines take top spots in girls’ tennis Mission League finals

In a déjà vu of last year, Wolverines opposed each other in both the singles and doubles final games of this year’s girls’ tennis Mission League finals Wednesday. Jenna Moustafa ’17 defeated Levi Craske-Curtin ’14 to win the singles tournament, while Sophie Gunter ’14 and Joelle Choi ’16 topped Isabella de Montesquiou ’16 and Sophie Cohen ’17 for the doubles title.

The team’s performances at league finals top off the flawless 10-0 Mission League record and the nine game winning streak it had entering today’s event. The Wolverines have not lost a match since Sept. 25 when they fell 11-7 to Santa Barbara.

The Wolverines’ string of victories has them primed for the first round of CIF playoffs. The date, place, and opponent for the first round is to be determined.
