Girls’ water polo earns 67th Mission League Victory in a row

The girls’ water polo team won its 67th Mission League victory in a row after posting a 16-6 win over Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy today at the Copses Family Pool.

 The afternoon was also marked as Senior Night for Rebecca Armstrong ’14 and Sydney Cheong ’14. Cheong is a four-year varsity player who will continue playing water polo at Princeton University. She contributed to back-to-back CIF championships in her freshman and sophomore year. Armstrong has been a varsity player for three years, and also contributed to the CIF title in 2012.
The Wolverines are 6-3 and have a perfect 2-0 league record. Their next game is against Crescenta Valley tomorrow at 4 PM.
