Girls’ team wins Mission League title

For the third straight year, the girls’ track team came out on top in the Mission League. Yesterday the girls’ team finished first with a dominating 59 points, 33 points ahead of the nearest competitor. The boys’ team finished in sixth place with a total of 5 points.

First place finishers at the meet included Lizzy Thomas ’14, David Manahan ’14, Courtney Corrin ’16, Alexandria Florent ’15, and Imani Cook-Gist ’15. The girls’ 4×100 relay squad also came out on top.

CIF qualifiers via the Mission League Finals will compete next at CIF Prelims on May 17 at Estancia High School.
