Soccer squad handles Crespi with ease

The boys’ soccer team improved their overall record to 11-2-1 with a 4-0 shutout win over Crespi tonight. The win pushes the squad’s winning streak to three games and the team now holds a 6-2-1 record in the Mission League.

Cole Fletcher ’15 opened up the floodgates for the Wolverines, scoring in the 33rd minute off of a Jadon Yariv ’16 throw-in. Henry Quilici ’15 scored his 17th goal of the season with a goal just before halftime.

The Wolverines kept their momentum going out of halftime with a quick goal from Myles Pindus ’15. Pindus added his second goal of the game in the 55th minute, giving Harvard-Westlake a 4-0 lead.

“It was a good overall win,” center defender Parker Converse ’15 said. “It was great to get a shutout. We started off a little bit slower than usual, but once we got the goal from [Fletcher] we started dominating the game.”
