Late goal propels team to second round of playoffs

The boys’ soccer team beat Camarillo in dramatic fashion yesterday to improve their overall record to 14-3-1 and advance to the second round of CIF Playoffs. Myles Pindus ’15 scored the only goal of the game to give the Wolverines a 1-0 win.

Pindus’ goal came with just eight minutes to go in the game off of a free kick 15-yards out.

The squad was without their leading goal-scorer Henry Quilici ’15 and was unable to put away many good chances in the first half.

Goalie Nick Richmond ’16 posted his ninth clean sheet of the season.

The squad will travel to Los Alamitos for their second round game Tuesday night.
