27 seniors qualify as National Merit Semifinalists

This year’s semifinalists, comprising of about 16,000 seniors from all over the country, make up less than one percent of U.S. high school seniors.

The NMSC announced that these semifinalists will be considered for some 7,500 National Merit Scholarships worth more than $32 million that will be offered next spring.
