Harvard-Westlake publications won 17 Columbia Scholastic Press Association Gold Circle Awards for their 2011-2012 works. Of those 17, five were first place, three were second place, three were third place and six were certificates of merit awards.
First place winners from the Chronicle are Camille Shooshani ’13 in the Sports News category, Mazelle Etessami ’14 in the Photography Portfolio of Work category and Robbie Loeb ’13 in both the Sports Page Design and the Special or General Interest Magazine Single Spread categories. Christina Yang ’12 took first place in the Sidebar Writing category for last year’s Vox Populi Yearbook.
