The boys’ lacrosse team continued its strong start to the season, beating Peninsula 16-3 in the second preseason game.

The main contributors to the Wolverine scoreline were Tommy Park ’18 with five goals and Zac Harleston ’17 with three goals. Additionally, Paul Rodriguez ’18, Asher Early ’19 and Reid Hudgins ’18 all scored two. Jared Goldman ’18 and Harrison Listen ’19 both scored once. A strong defensive performance as well as multiple strong saves from goalkeeper Troy Hattler ’17 allowed the Wolverines to keep Peninsula scoreless until late into the second quarter.

The Wolverines will hope to continue their strong preseason form in their next match against Thousand Oaks on March 7. After the Thousand Oaks match, the team will have one more preseason match against Westlake before its first league match against Crespi on March 14.
