New, donated organ installed in chapel

The chapel acquired a new organ which was installed during November before winter break. The new organ will be used for events in the chapel.

“It was available for any type of service held in [the chapel],” Chaplain J. Young said. “It also may be made available for student use.”

The old organ was 40 years old and had been used in the chapel for 18 years. The organ had to be repaired before every use.

The new organ cost $25,000 and was donated by Chris Forman ’79, Margaret Forman and Michael Forman.
