Take me out to the ball game: Teacher catches foul ball at World Series

Science teacher Jesse Reiner caught a foul ball barehanded during the last game of the World Series at Dodger Stadium on Oct. 28. Reiner, a Red Sox fan raised in Massachusetts, made the catch during the final inning.

“I was lucky enough on Sunday night not only to be at Dodger Stadium to watch the Red Sox clinch the world series, but also to make a barehanded catch of a foul ball in the bottom of the ninth inning on the 0-1 pitch to Justin Turner leading off, which was just spectacularly thrilling,” Reiner said.
