Prefect Council announced the new policy regarding absences on the weekends of Coachella Music Festival. Students can either miss the Friday or Monday of the weekend as an excused absence.

    Coordinator of student programs departs

    Coordinator of Student Programs Nairy Simonyan resigned on Feb. 15 after her husband received a promotion in San Diego. Upper School Assistant Lisa Zucker will work part-time and take over her duties, though there is no permanent replacement.Simonyan taught a Choices and Challenges class, ran the Peer Tutoring program, helped coordinate several all-school assemblies and proctored extended time exams. Concerns about Educational Testing Reports will now be directed to school psychiatrist Dr. Sheila Siegel.
