Westlake alum replaces assistant

Lisa Zucker ’91 has temporarily replaced Melissa Cherella as executive assistant to Head of School Dr. Jeanne Huybrechts. Cherella, who has worked as Huybrechts’ assistant since last year, will be on maternity leave until December.
Zucker has been working “on call” for the school for many years since graduating from Westlake. She has performed various tasks at the upper school campus, including replacing Nairy Simonyan in the Office of Advancement last year and aiding Michelle Bracken, assistant to Head of Upper School Harry Salamandra.  Zucker has also worked at the Middle School.
She explains that she enjoys doing these jobs because she “is a project work person and likes the variety.”
