Yoo to move to Hong Kong

Stephanie Yoo will teach her last English class at the Upper School on Friday, after two and a half years working at the school.

She will move to Hong Kong with her husband, who received a job offer there only a few weeks ago.

“It was a very unexpected move,” Yoo said, but the job was an “opportunity” for her husband.
Yoo does not yet have a job in Hong Kong, but plans on teaching there as well.

English teachers Jeffrey Kwitny, Jeremy Michaelson and Upper School Dean Jon Wimbish will each take over one of Yoo’s English II classes, while new English and creative writing teacher Darcy Cosper will teach both of Yoo’s English IV classes.

“It’s been a positive experience,” Yoo said. “The students are very motivated.”
