Drawing, painting students visit museums

By Hannah Rosenberg and Catherine Wang

The Drawing and Painting I classes went on a field trip to the Norton-Simon Museum in Pasadena on March 11.

The students, accompanied by Visual Arts Teacher Marianne Hall and history teachers Greg Gonzalez and Katherine Holmes-Chuba left school at noon and took a bus ride to the museum.

Students ventured through the Impressionism, Realism and Baroque galleries. Students saw paintings by Monet, Van Gogh, Degas, Manet, Rubens, Rembrandt and Raphael.
