Head Prefect vote is in

The California Newspaper Publishers Association announced Saturday that they had awarded first place honors to the 2009-2010 Chronicle in its annual Better Newspapers Contest.

The Granite Bay High School Gazette won second place in the contest, which the professional newspaper association  has run for the past seven years. The Chronicle has placed first six of seven times.

Editors-in-chief of the 2009-2010 Chronicle are Sam Adams ’10 and Hana Al-Henaid ’10.
