Varstiy Field Hockey is going to the Semi-Finals

By Chelsey Taylor-Vaughn

After finishing with an undefeated league record, the field hockey team won their first playoff game yesterday against the Marina Vikings, 2-1. Chelsea Edwards ’11 and Kristen Lee ’12 scored the two goals.

Adrianna Crovo ’11 was back in goal for the Wolverines in her first game since being out for all of the league games with a hip injury.

“I wasn’t planning on starting but I ended up starting the game and playing almost the full game,” Crovo said.

Tomorrow the team will go up against one of its biggest rivals, Newport, in the semifinals.
