Baseball bounces back from Alemany loss, beats St. Francis

By Judd Liebman

After having its four game winning streak broken by Alemany 7-6 on Monday, the baseball team bounced back and dominated St. Francis 10-0, improving to 4-1 in league.

The 13-5 squad split its two-game season series with Alemany, and each game was decided by only one run; the Wolverines won the first game 5-4 on April 4th.

Star pitcher Lucas Giolito ’12 shut down the St. Francis offense on Tuesday, tossing a complete game shutout on only 82 pitches.

The team will finish out the season series against St. Francis Friday at Brookside Park.
