    Girls Volleyball Rolls Past Chaminade

    The girls volleyball team, led by 30 digs from libero Katie Price ’12 , defeated the Chaminade Eagles on Oct. 4 at home.

    The Eagles managed to keep it tight in the first two sets, only losing by four and five points, but the Wolverines finished off their Mission League opponent in the third game by a score of 25-11.

    “We came out really strong from the start and never gave up our lead,” outside hitter Nicole Gould ’13 said.

    The win moves the Wolverines to 2-1 while dropping the Eagles to 1-1 in league play so far this season. 

    Captains Lucy Tilton ’12 and Sofia Davila ’12 were both unavailable to play due to a shoulder injury and illness, respectively.The Wolverines will remain at home to play Louisville on Oct. 6 in another in-league matchup.
