By Julius Pak

Finishing her career in the Mission League, Cami Chapus ’12 won three league titles at Mission League Finals Thursday at Los Angeles Valley College. On top of her win as part of the girls’ 4×400-meter relay, Chapus repeated as champion in the 1600-meter and 3200-meter event.

Co-captain Amy Weissenbach ’12, who along with Chapus, Imani Cook-Gist ’15 and Shea Copeland ’12 helped defend the Wolverines’ title in the relay event, also won her second league title in a row in the 800-meter event.

The co-captains also finished right behind the other in the 800 and the 1600.

Freshman Garrett Robinson ’15 took his first individual league title in the 400-meter event.

Off the track, Elena Crowe ’12 and Ben Gaylord ’13 each won individual titles in the pole vault event in the girls’ and boys’ divisions, respectively.

Overall, 25 athletes qualified to CIF Prelims next Saturday at Estancia High School
