    Golfer qualifies for State Junior Championship

    Golfer Bakari Bolden ’14 qualified on Monday, June 23 to play in the California Boys’ Junior State Amateur Championship with a 1-under-par 71 at Olivas Links Golf Course in Ventura, Calif..

    Bolden was even par through his first nine holes with a bogey on the par 4 third hole and a birdie on the par 4 seventh hole. He bogeyed the par-5, 14th hole, but responded with birdies on the final two holes to finish under par.

    Bolden was one of four players to break par in the qualifier. The Championship will be held in Northern California on August 8-10.
