Three faculty members each gave birth to boys over summer break. Upper school Dean Tamar Adegbile gave birth to Aaron on Aug. 29. She expects to be out of school for about three months. Head of middle school performing arts Emily Reola gave birth to Mario on Aug. 17. Reola will return to school on Jan. 7. Upper school math teacher Ashley Satterthwaite had her boy Jeht on June 1.
“Being a mother is constant,” Satterthwaite said. “It’s overwhelming, but it’s really a blast at the same time.”
