More than 200 people attended the Multicultural Reception on Jan. 30, which took place at the Stoney Hills-Mountain Gate clubhouse.
“Our goal is to give applicant families an opportunity to meet Harvard-Westlake administrators, faculty, staff, and parents,” Admission Officer Melanie Léon, who organized the event, said. Léon said the reception was open to all who were interested in attending, though it was especially for families that say they are multicultural or part of a minority on the application.
