Dancers from Art of Dance I and II, along with two solo dancers, performed Tuesday at 3:45 p.m. in the Dance Studio.

The performance did not have a specific theme, so the songs featured were a compilation of works that were done in class, such as “Say Something” by A Great Big World and “Do I Wanna Know” by the Arctic Monkeys.

“It was just a mixture of songs that either the students or our teacher picked based on how they would go with the dance, so it wasn’t a specific style,” Amira Yashruti ’17 said. “It was fun, and we prepared a lot for it, so I think it went well.”

The performance lasted for about 40 minutes, and parents and friends attended. Tickets were not required.

“It went really well,” Carlos Guanche ’16 said. “I’d say that everyone really kept the ideas behind their dances in mind, so the dances themselves had meaning when they were performed.”
