Art teacher performs dance at Arizona invitational

Art teacher and photographer Nancy Popp performed in the second annual Encaustic Invitational at the Conrad Wilde Gallery in Tucson, Ariz., March 3. Popp performed in a piece called “Honeymoon 2,” inspired by George Brecht’s Drip Music. The invitational is for artists who work with beeswax and Popp’s piece involved honey being poured onto her by Adam Overton, a composer of experimental sound performance.
