    Boys’ tennis loses to University Irvine

    Facing their biggest competition the boys’ tennis team fell to University Irvine today at Los Angeles Valley College. The final score was 10-8 with two noteworthy doubles matches.

    Harrison Kalt ’13 and Michael Genender ’15 beat University’s number one doubles team in a tiebreak.

    In addition Max Rothman ’14 and Dylan Eisner ’13 played a close match resulting in a win for the Wolverines in the tiebreaker.

    “We had some very competitive matches and the teams’ scores were much closer than expected,” said Zach Buskin ’14

    The team’s next match will be Thursday against Los Alamitos.
