Campus experiences brief power outage

The upper school campus experienced an area affected power outage during fourth period Friday.

The power went out at 11:11 a.m. and was fixed by 11:20 a.m.. According the Department of Water and Power, the reason for the power outage is still unknown.

The outage prevented the wifi from working, and the cafeteria was unable to charge students electronically.

Students said that they felt that the power outage made it difficult to be productive with their work in class due to its effects on technology.

“Power outages are really difficult to deal with, especially because it inhibits my ability to complete my work because I am unable use wifi or see very well,” Chloe Donovan ’19 said.
