Cross country team continues strong start to season

The girls cross country team came in first overall for the second time in two Mission League Clusters. The boys came in second at the league meet today after finishing third last time.

The girls team’s top individual finishers were Lochryn Howe ’17 who finished third, Lauren Jones ’16 who finished fifth and Casey Crosson ’17 who finished eighth. The girls now sit atop the Mission League in first place after their dominating start to the season.

The boys fell short to Loyola in their second consecutive top three finish in league competition. Amongst the team, Ben Weissenbach ’15 finished first, Jack Stovitz ’16 second, Henry Roskin ’16 third, Sean Quinn ’18 fourth and Jeffrey Ehlers ’16 fifth.

The squad’s next meet is the Santa Clarita Valley Invitational Oct. 11.
