In its final matchup of the regular season on Senior Day, the field hockey team defeated league opponent Louisville 8-0 today, capping its season off with an 11-1-1 record.
The team closed out their season with their highest scoring total, edging out their seven goal game earlier this month, which was also against Louisville HS. Goalie Daniela Grande’s ’15, along with the help of a potent defense, achieved her sixth shutout in a row and 10th of the season.
With this win, the team will head into the playoffs with momentum, trying to capture the LAFHA Championship that slipped away from them last year.
