The third game was the charm for varsity football, which won for the first time this year in a 42-8 blowout over Leuzinger on Thursday night at Ted Slavin Field.
After a 47-16 loss to Venice in their first game two weeks ago, the Wolverines let a lead over Fairfax slip away last week, and the game ended in a tie. But the Wolverines had little trouble on Thursday, scoring 42 unanswered points before Leuzinger got on the board with a touchdown late in the fourth quarter.
Lewis Dix ’11 caught four touchdown passes and Noor Fateh ’11 caught two.
Cameron Komisar ’12 and Charlie Porter ’12 intercepted one pass each for the Wolverines.
