Football falls to Serra for second straight loss

The Wolverine football team lost its second consecutive game and first Mission League game after its undefeated start, falling to Serra by a score of 63-7 at home on Oct. 11. Serra led after the first quarter by a score of 35-0, and after the Wolverine offense’s fifth turnover early in the second, Serra’s backup had already taken the field. H-W scored its only points on a Marshal Cohen ’16 two yard run in the fourth quarter.

The team’s second Mission League game game will also take place on Ted Slavin field, a matchup with St. Paul on Oct. 18.
