Former Wolverine set to reach 100 caps for New Zealand national team

Former Wolverine Ali Riley ’06 will reach 100 senior caps for the New Zealand national team against the Australian national team in June.

Following her tenure as a Wolverine, Riley played soccer for Stanford, and was drafted 10th overall in the 2010 WPS draft by FC Gold Pride. Riley now plays for FC Rosengard in the Damallsvenskan, the highest division of women’s professional soccer in Sweden.

Riley has competed in both the World Cup and the Olympics. She was part of the first New Zealand national soccer team to win a game in the Olympics.
