Girls’ Soccer Maintains Spotless League Record

The girls’ soccer team maintained pressure for the entire game tonight against Chaminade, and the girls defeated the Eagle 3-0, giving the Wolverines a league record of 3-0.  The team’s overall record is 8-2-1.

Quinn Frankel ’16 scored Harvard-Westlake’s first point during the game’s 24th minute.

Later in the game, on a penalty kick given to Courtney Corrin ’16, which the goalie blocked, Ariana Miles ’18 scored by kicking the rebounded ball back into the goal. Within a few minutes, Courtney O’Brien scored again to give HW its final points and cement the Wolverines’ victory over the Chaminade Eagles.

The team’s next game is a home league match Friday against Alemany.
