The Gender and Sexuality Awareness Club will host a screening of the film “GBF” followed by a Q & A with the film’s director Darren Stein ’89 Friday, April 11 in Ahmanson Lecture Hall.
“This is an opportunity to see one of our own who has pursued his dream to be a filmmaker and has found success as a director of feature films and shorts,” GSA advisor and visual arts department head Cheri Gaulke said. “The film is a very funny look at coming out in high school and the social dramas that can exist.”
There will be pizza at 6:30 p.m. followed by the screening at 7 p.m. The screening will also be open to GSA students from other schools.
