The JV boysâ basketball team won its last two games in the preseason Cathedral tournament.
The team had two big wins, recently winning 66-50 against Brentwood and 75-60 against Serra. Currently, the team has a 3-1 record.
“Iâm most looking forward to playing St. Francis and Loyola, since we lost to both of them last year,” said Adam Williams â12.
The JV teamâs highest scorer so far is Adel Kemal â11, who leads the team with 19 points per game and four assists per game.
The team is currently playing in the Chatsworth tournament and will then play in the Redondo Tournament at Lawndale High School starting Saturday. Its first league game will be against St. Francis on Jan. 6. It will then play 13 more league games, the last of which will be a home matchup against Chaminade.
