Lacrosse wins Mission League title, advances to CIF playoffs

By Camille Shooshani

The varsity lacrosse team clinched the Mission League title Monday night, defeating Crespi 8-7.

With under a minute and half left to play in regulation, the Wolverines were down 7-5. However a shot from Ross O’Shea ’14 and another from Jack Temko ’14 forced overtime.

O’Shea scored the winning goal in the sudden death period.

Tomorrow, the Wolverines will face Mira Costa at home in the first round of CIF playoffs.
