Librarians allow food inside Mudd space

The ban on food in the Upper School’s library has been lifted, and students are now allowed to eat indoors.

With this change, Head Librarian Shannon Acedo hopes there will be no need for students to break rules, which will decrease unnecessary stress among library visitors. Bringing food into the Tech Lab is still discouraged, as spills may occur, she said.

“I think that [allowing] food in the library is good because it gives students more opportunities to get work done, since they can multitask if they have a busy schedule,” Thomas Tilton ’16 said.
