Love’s Labor’s Lost opens with laughter

“Love’s Labor’s Lost,” one of Shakespeare’s “problem plays,” neither a comedy, nor a tragedy, was performed last weekend. In the play, the King of Navarre (Andrew Pattison ‘07) and his court swear off women for three years, but when a beautiful princess (Ellie Bensinger ’09) and her retinue arrive, their determination is challenged, and each man falls in love with one of the women.

See audience reactions to the play.
