Carina Marx

I’m an Executive Editor on the Chronicle. I read articles and look them through for AP style and grammar mistakes. I also help advise the editorial board with the other members of the Managing Team. I worked on the Sports section for two years before that, writing about different sports beats and laying out the main feature page. I’m proud to say some of my closest friends were made on this staff throughout the years, in all sections and grades.

Hi, I’m Rian Ratnavale, and I’m an Executive Editor of both the Chronicle and Big Red. For me, it’s all about words: I see a lot of the articles that we publish and make stylistic and grammatical edits so that we have a high-quality newspaper. Outside of the Chronicle, I’ve worked on an online sports publication and have also attended a five-week journalism program at Medill. I love my Golden State Warriors, dabbing, making terrible puns, acting, cooking, and most importantly, spending time with my friends.
