About 250 people attended the opening reception of the first middle school Spring Art Invitational on Feb. 7.
At the opening, artist Gronk talked to students and Blick Art Materials donated goodie bags.
“It was just a really lovely, festive, busy evening. There were a lot of mummies, a lot of tessellations and a lot of masks, but they were all different,” Middle School Art Department Head Brenda Anderson said. “It’s a really neat show.”
