Middle school students win Scholastic Art Awards

21 middle school artists with entries in the mixed media, sculpture, drawing, painting, printing, animation, computer art categories were recognized in the regional Sc
holastic Art Awards on February 11 at the Otis College of Art and Design.

Entries that received Gold Key awards will be forwarded to the national competition. If recognized nationally, students are invited to attend the awards ceremony held in Carnegie Hall in New York in June, where they will have the opportunity to participate in workshops with professionals in artistic fields.

Students received a small pendant and certificate.
