New Athletic Director announced

Former Milken and Stephen S. Wise Head of Athletics Jason Kelly will take over as the new Wolverine Athletic Director, the athletic department announced in a press release Monday.

Kelly, a native of the United Kingdom, worked at Milken and Stephen S. Wise for 18 years before arriving at Harvard-Westlake. Kelly’s feats in his 18 years range from founding a tackle football program to taking on the role of Lower School Dean.

“I am honored and excited to be a member of the Harvard-Westlake School community,” Kelly said in the press release. “Harvard-Westlake is renowned for its commitment to excellence in academics and athletics, which matches my own personal and educational values. I am inspired by the outstanding educators and coaches that I have met on campus and look forward to contributing my own considerable energy, enthusiasm and experience to the athletic department and school.”

Kelly takes over for former Athletic Director Vince Orlando. Orlando left after one year to take the Athletic Director job at Eaglecrest High School in Centennial, Colorado.
