Winterfest, an annual week-long event planned by the Prefect Council and the Winterfest Committee, will take place throughout this week. The committee hopes that the festivities will help the community celebrate the holiday season.
Throughout the week, performances will be going on in the lounge. Performers will include the H-W Jazz Singers, the ARC Bell Choir, and Kathryn Gallagher ’11. Free hot chocolate and apple cider will be available.
Candy grams will also be sold in the lounge throughout the week.
Students are encouraged to wear festive clothing on Monday, such as Santa hats and Rudolph noses. Wednesday is “Wacky Sweater Wednesday,” where students are to wear their most outrageous holiday sweaters. The week will culminate in “Fuzzy Flannel Friday,” an opportunity to wear your fuzzy scarves, hats, mittens, and earmuffs.
