The Student Athletic Advisory Council will promote the National Basketball Association’s All-Star Jam Session in the quad Wednesday through Friday. The Jam Session, which coincides with the weekend of the NBA All-Star Game, is an event for basketball fans to meet current NBA players, participate in contests and watch the All-Star Celebrity Game. The event will take place in the Los Angeles Convention Center.
Students that sign up with SAAC Wednesday or Thursday will be eligible to win free tickets to Jam Session. The first two people to approach Athletic Director Terry Barnum at the scorer’s table during the halftime of both basketball playoff games will receive free tickets. The boys’ basketball team plays Wednesday at 7 p.m, and the girls’ basketball team plays Thursday night at 7 p.m.
