    Soccer beats rival Loyola

The boys’ soccer team beat Loyola 1-0 tonight to improve their Mission League record to 8-3-1. The team has locked up a spot in CIF Playoffs, which start later this month.

Henry Quilici ’15, the teams leading scorer, netted the game-winner with 18 minutes to left in the game off of an assist from Parker Converse ’15.

Heading into the game, Loyola had already locked up the one seed in the Mission League with a 9-1-1 record and the Wolverines had already clinched second place.

The team will find out their first opponent in CIF Playoffs when the boys’ soccer bracket comes out Feb. 16.
