Softball clinches first Mission League Championship in 10 years

By Luke Holthouse

For the first time since 2002, the softball team has won a Mission League Championship. An 8-5 win over Flintridge Sacred Heart tonight clinched the title for the Wolverines.

The girls improved their overall record to 17-3-2 and remained unbeaten in league play with a record of 8-0-1. The Wolverines’ regular season finale is set for Thursday, when they will host Alemany on Senior Night at Birmingham High School.

The first place finish in league automatically qualifies the Wolverines for playoffs.
