Sophomore performs with out of school orchestra

Enya Huang ’15 will perform in the Claremont Young Musician Orchestra’s concert next sunday Jan. 20. The concert, which will be held at the Bridges Hall of Music, will begin at 7 PM.

Huang, who auditioned for this orchestra three years ago, is the principal chair for the viola section in the Claremont Young Musician Orchestra. She also plays the viola for the Upper School Symphony.

Huang typically rehearses once every week with CYMO. She plans to perform with the orchestra in future events, including a tour in Europe this summer.

“When I’m playing the viola , it’s very relaxing,” Huang said. “It’s just me, the instrument, and true music.”
