Alumnus makes Yankees’ 40-man roster

Left-handed pitcher Nik Turley ’08 was named to the New York Yankees’ 40-man roster on Nov. 20. Turley had a 1.88 ERA in his senior year for the Wolverines before he was drafted 50th overall by the Yankees in the 2008 MLB Draft. He pitched for the Yankees’ AA squad Trenton Thunder in 2012.
